What is the difference between bespoke and made to measure?

Bespoke suits are built entirely from scratch — a unique pattern is drafted for your body, the fabric is hand-cut, and the garment is constructed with extensive handwork. Made to measure starts from a pre-existing pattern that is adjusted to your measurements. Both deliver excellent results, but bespoke offers the highest level of personalization and fit. At Fino, we offer both options.

How much does a custom suit cost?

It depends on the fabric. The cloth and the mill it comes from set most of the price of a custom suit, with the construction tier and the level of handwork deciding the rest, so we do not publish a figure. During your consultation we walk the fabric library with you and confirm an exact price before anything is commissioned.

Your timeline is confirmed at your consultation. It depends on the construction tier, fabric availability, and production scheduling in Italy. If you have a specific event or deadline in mind, tell us early and we will plan around it.

How many fittings will I need?

Accepted Answer

That is confirmed at your consultation and depends on the garment and the construction tier. Every commission includes a final review in our studio, where we check structure, shoulder fit, and proportions, and refine details such as sleeve length and trouser break. If a Fino garment needs any refinements, we take care of them as part of the commission.
